Royal Canin Cat Food

cat-information: Prescription Cat FoodRoyal Canin cat food is a premium cat food that has been created especially for domestic cats and is manufactured only from completely natural ingredients including brown rice, chicken, fish, eggs, and many other ingredients. There is a wide variety of different foods offered by Royal Canin and many of them cater to felines with specific dietary requirements. As well as cat foods like the Mature range, which are aimed at cats over 10 years of age, there are also brands like Urinary S/O which are beneficial to those cats with urinary infections.

Natural Ingredients

The use of natural ingredients means that Royal Canin cat food delivers a mass of essential minerals and vitamins for your cat. Amino acids, fatty acids, and fish oil are just some of the beneficial minerals found in the food and these not only help your cat look healthy with a shiny coat they also reduce the build up of fur balls, help digestion, and generally aid the cat's wellbeing and good health.

Mature Cats

Mature cats do have different needs to younger cats, in the same way that older people have different requirements to younger people. Royal Canin Mature cat food has lower phosphorus and sodium levels which is ideal for the mature feline while larger kibbles are provided in the Dental Plan formula to prevent bits from getting lodged in bad teeth.

Prescription Cat Foods

Some of the formulas offered by Royal Canin may usually require a prescription from your vet. The diabetic formula and the Dental formula are two of the nutritional, balanced diet foods for which you may need to get a prescription from you vet.

Royal Canin Cat Food

Another benefit of the natural ingredients used in Royal Canin is that your cats will love meal times even more. Chicken, fish, and other ingredients hold obvious appeal to most cats and with a good variety of different flavours and ingredients you can make sure that your cat or cats are filled up with good quality food and that they stay fuller for longer; cheap cat food may often be filled with water or other ingredients that offer short term gratification but little in the way of nourishment and greater feeding requirements.

Hillcrestanimalhospital.co.uk can supply a range of high quality Royal Canin cat food , available at great prices from our online shop.

What else to do for my sick Hamster?
Hi All, Out of my two female Hamster's, one is sick. My mom called around to see the pricings for visits at some vets and then when we made an appointment, the day of the appointment my mom called in to check and see if everything was still set up, then they said "We don't see Rabbit's or Hamster's or anything else like that anymore, wtf? So then we called the place closer to us, where we get our cat's k\d prescription cat food, and they charged $25 for a visit and would see Hamster's, so we went there and it was like $68 because, she had wet-tail and a large mass, they said it'd take more test to find out if it was in a origin or on the outside of one, and with surgery it would cost a whopping $283 if I had the money, I'd say go ahead, but we couldn't and took the supplie's the vet told us to give her fluids once a day, medicine twice a ay and to go out and buy some baby food for her to eat, to do atleast 6 times a day, well the vet did the fluids and the medicine before we left to show us how to do it, and I was like "Oh that looks fairly easy", since me and my mom had to put a IV and give fluids to my cat from the neck\back the same way they showed us to do to my hamster. Well, today I did the same thing the vet told me to do and 2 hours later I checked on her and the first time the vet did it, her cheeks got real puffed up and it was like she got a double chin because, the water was storing in there. Now it's like a bubble from inside as come out of her mouth, it hangs in the corner of hour mouth, in the way of her eating and such, I don't know if the stuff the lady gave me is for the wet tail or her mass, I'm not sure what else to do, and she just looks really helpless and disgusting. The pouch\bubble thing that is hanging out of her mouth, is like her insides? It has veins on it, as if it were in here, it's in her way of eating because, she is trying to eat, but she just falls or drops her food, if anyone knows what to do, please help? The vet is closed. It seems like I want to call someone, like the emergency vet, or somewhere, but my mom and Aunt don't seem to be too worried, my Aunt told me to call my mom and to tell her to call the vet we took her to before they closed and to see what they said about her, my mom never did that, then my Aunt said just to see if the bubble or whatever is gone or something by tomorrow. I've only had this Hamster since Febuary 16th, she's not even 6 months old yet. I've dealt with Hamster deaths before though, I've atleast 26 in the past. Well, if it's her time, then it's her time, that's what sucks about getting them from pet stores. Yeah, to put her through surgery, it was going to be like $283, some people say heck no for a $3 hammy, why go through all of that, but to me, any pet, from tiny to large should have the right to live. Once I start getting money, I'll be able to take care of my own animals! Dangit! Well, if she doesn't live, she was a great hammie while I had her, and her sister will miss her and she'll be missed by others. The suck thing is, when we took her to the vet, she bit one of the vet lady's because, she should've known to wait for her to wake up and open her eyes, she startled her and the hamster bit the lady and she bled, they said if she dies within 10 days, to bring her there so they can check her for rabies, I have to go through all of that, even if she dies, grr.
