How to help my kittens eye infection?
My kitten is 3mo. old and we got her from the local shelter. She had an upper respiratory infection and was put on antibiotics. She wasn't getting any better and her eyes (especially one eye) started dripping green stuff and they were irritated, so the vet put her on stronger antibiotics yesterday. But, today her one eye looks really bad. Should I call the vet again? Tomorrow is sunday so I'm not sure what to do. Or should I just let it pass and see if she gets better since it's only day two on the new medication? I don't want her to suffer if she doesn't have to....... The vet isn't open on Sunday....so if I wake up tomorrow morning and she isstill looking bad who should I call? to answer the questions asked: there's an emergency vet nearby....she isn't vomiting or acting sick.....she's just itching her eyes a lot w/her paws.....licking her paws and then rubbing her eyes a lot.
